KCBC is a very well-equipped boat club – we have boathouses both on the busy Isis stretch where most of our races take place, and further upstream at Godstow which is practically untouched, each a less than 10 minute cycle from Keble. We also have an erg room a 5 minute cycle from the college which is fully equipped with 8 new dynamic ergs and 8 static erg machines, as well as making use of the gym within Keble.

The most recent additions to our fleet are a top of the range Empacher 8+ and Fillipi 8+ for the Men’s and Women’s first Eights, and a new Swift 8+ for the novices, bringing us up to 4 men’s eights and 4 women’s eights. We also have a large range of smaller boats. There really isn’t a better college┬áto get access to this standard of facilities – whether you are a complete beginner or in one of our top boats you will be using high quality, well maintained equipment.

However, our biggest asset is our coaching team, which consists of John Redos, Morgan Baynham-Williams and Callum Arnold, all of whom have immense rowing experience both at international level and with the Oxford University squads. Their continual hard work is so highly valued, and is the reason for KCBC’s current strength throughout the squad.

We are also lucky enough to be sponsored by Neptune Investment Management, who very kindly provide us with lots of generous support, such as boats, blades and kit.
